About the ILMI
KKETS Indigenous Skills and Employment Training Strategy (ISETS) program has partnered with the Aboriginal Employment Services (AES) to deliver the ILMI surveys to on and off Matawa community members. This initiative is funded by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).
The survey will collect, store and analyse Labour Market Information (ILM) in the 8 Matawa communities of Aroland FN, Constance Lake FN, Eabametoong FN, Ginoogaming FN, Marten Falls FN, Neskantaga FN, Nibinamik FN and Webequie FN.
The information gathered will focus on the current employment and skills of community members, their past employment and educational experiences, and their future career interests relating to training and employment.

-
proof of membership in one of the 9 Matawa communities (status card or letter from band), and

Survey Results
The results of the survey will inform service providers such as KKETS to address specific needs of the community and provide supportive data when applying for other sources of funding for programming.
AES prepares and shares reports to participating Matawa communities and Employment and Social Development Canada. The data will be accessible through the ILMI database that holds all participants’ data and is limited to the AES technical support, surveyors such as KKETS and other local ILMI project members as approved by the participating Matawa communities.
Register for the survey by clicking on the Registration link and filling out the form. A survey will be emailed to you shortly after.
